Inventory Control Associate
Busy Beaver Building Centers Busy Beaver Building Centers Mount Pleasant, PA Mount Pleasant, PA Full-time Full-time $10 - $15 an hour $10 - $15 an hour Position Summary The Receiving Manager's primary responsibility will be to accurately receive materials shipped to the store in a timely enough fashion to allow for movement to the salesroom floor in 24 hours.
The process will include the use of a hand-held scanning device and interfacing with purchase orders through a computer program.
Additional responsibilities will include managing inter-store transfers and return merchandise to vendors, as required.
The Receiving Manager works closely with the accounting staff to ensure proper and accurate inventory.
Much of the Receiving Manager's work will be conducted at or near the loading dock typically in the rear, warehouse area of the store.
As such, he/she will be responsible for customer pick-ups and loading typically done in the yard area.
In all phases of the job, cleanliness and housekeeping of the work area is required as well as adherence the safety standards as directed by OSHA.
