Advisor - Employee Relations

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES: 1. Provide front line support and guidance to managers in the area of employee relations, ensuring decisions are made with consideration to fairness and precedent 2. Perform routine and complex investigations involving employees, supervisors and management in the areas of harassment, discrimination and other employee relations issues 3. Propose recommendations and disposition for investigations and ensure timely follow-up with impacted employees 4. Provide assistance in the form of advice and counsel to staff and management in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations 5. Provide information to management regarding employment practices throughout the organization 6. Provide advice and counsel to managers on how to appropriately handle employee complaints 7. Respond to information requests, participate in company litigation at request of the Legal Department, prepare case histories and organize documentation 8. Partner with and build strong relationships with key partners at all levels across the organization 9. May counsel employees for career path, coordinate employee transfers and conduct exit interviews 10. Collect and analyze data, prepare reports and investigative summaries for review by HR management 11. Assist in gathering information responsive to Alert Line calls 12. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures 13. Perform other duties as required QUALIFICATIONS: o Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience o Five (5) years' experience with demonstrated proficiency in Human Resources related responsibilities o Thorough understanding of employment and wage and hour laws o Proven ability in problem-solving, analysis and independent judgment o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills o Excellent coaching, mentoring and facilitating skills o Must be multi-tasked oriented and possess strong organizational skills o Ability to handle and maintain confidential information o Ability to work independently and function effectively in situations that may be potentially adversarial o Ability to interact with and support employees and leadership across all organizational levels o General familiarity with compensation and benefits preferred o Computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to Work, Excel, Outlook and the internet o Strong time management and organizational skills with an attention to detail Job ID: 431572BR

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
