RN- STAFFING SUPPORT TEAM- FRICK HOSPITAL- CASUAL

The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care for a designated group of patients. The RN coordinates, directs and actively participates as an effective member of the interdisciplinary health care team, contributing to the efficient operation of the unit and promoting positive patient outcomes. May be required to lift/transfer 30lbs or greater utilizing assistance and or applicable patient lift equipment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
  • Effective January 1, 2015 required BSN with hire or obtain within four (4) years from date of hire. Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved curriculum of the American Heart Association (CPR and AED) program.
  • Current PALS or completion within one year of hire/transfer into department
  • Current ACLS or completion within one year of hire/transfer into department
  • Basic Arrhythmia and Critical Care Course within one year of hire/transfer into department.
  • NIH Stroke Scale current or within 6 months of Hire/Transfer into Department.
  • Strong leadership ability, independent thinking and decision-making ability; analytical problem solving skills, sound judgment; excellent oral and written communication skills, must be able to function in a team environment.
  • A Nursing refresher course may be required if employee hasn t worked in an acute care setting for his / her most recent three consecutive years of professional employment.

Preferred:

  • One-year medical-surgical experience. Critical Care Experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
